This culture pack includes 1 Pinguicula Delta tissue cultures. It comes in agar gel and is ready to acclimate to its new jungle.
Pinguicula ‘Delta’ is a captivating carnivorous plant known for its vibrant rosettes and delicate, dew-covered leaves that shimmer in the light. Its fleshy foliage ranges from soft green to blushy pink tones depending on light exposure, with tiny glandular hairs that secrete a sticky dew used to trap small insects. This natural “sparkle” gives the plant a magical, almost jewel-like appearance.
Compact and easy to admire up close, the Pinguicula ‘Delta’ is perfect for windowsills, terrariums, or bright indoor spaces where its rosette form can shine. In addition to its beauty, it is a functional insect catcher, making it both ornamental and practical for plant collectors who enjoy unique, low-maintenance carnivorous species.
Watch our step-by-step video instructions on our How To Acclimate Your Tissue Culture blog!
- Step 1- Do not do anything to the culture for 1-2 days to allow them to adjust to the temperature in their new environment
- Step 2- Open the package & wash the agar jelly off the plant as thoroughly as possible. We strongly recommend using running water. A small paint brush can be gently used to assist with the cleaning process. This is one of the most important steps of the process.
- Step 3- Plant your cultures in the medium of your choice. We recommend a chunky blend of coco husk & perlite. We utilize acclimation plugs although there are many great mediums available.
- Step 4- Place them into a clear sealed package (container or plastic bag). Within 24-hours your container will have water droplets forming, which will confirm the container is at 100% humidity.
- Step 5-Place under a grow lights for between 8 & 14 hours a day
- Step 6- Leave plants covered for the first 7 days. The following 7 to 10 days slowly expose plants to ambient air. Each day exposing the plants to slightly more air until fully acclimated.
Our acclimation kits will contain all of the tools necessary for success. Just add water & grow lights to the simple acclimation process to produce healthy acclimated plants!
