This culture pack includes 1 Monstera Cream Cheese tissue culture. It comes in agar gel and is ready to acclimate to its new jungle.
Monstera ‘Cream Cheese’ is a highly sought-after variegated Monstera known for its rich, buttery cream marbling set against deep green foliage. Each leaf unfurls with unpredictable splashes, sectoral patches, and soft gradients of ivory and pale yellow, giving the plant its signature “creamy” appearance that feels luxurious rather than stark.
With a classic Monstera growth habit, Monstera Cream Cheese produces large, fenestrated leaves as it matures, especially when given support. The variegation tends to present in broad, painterly sections, making every leaf a statement piece and no two plants exactly alike.
This cultivar is ideal for collectors who love high-contrast variegation with a warmer, softer tone. Bright, indirect light helps maintain its coloration while encouraging strong, healthy growth.
Watch our step-by-step video instructions on our How To Acclimate Your Tissue Culture blog!
- Step 1- Do not do anything to the culture for 1-2 days to allow them to adjust to the temperature in their new environment
- Step 2- Open the package & wash the agar jelly off the plant as thoroughly as possible. We strongly recommend using running water. A small paint brush can be gently used to assist with the cleaning process. This is one of the most important steps of the process.
- Step 3- Plant your cultures in the medium of your choice. We recommend a chunky blend of coco husk & perlite. We utilize acclimation plugs although there are many great mediums available.
- Step 4- Place them into a clear sealed package (container or plastic bag). Within 24-hours your container will have water droplets forming, which will confirm the container is at 100% humidity.
- Step 5-Place under a grow lights for between 8 & 14 hours a day
- Step 6- Leave plants covered for the first 7 days. The following 7 to 10 days slowly expose plants to ambient air. Each day exposing the plants to slightly more air until fully acclimated.
Our acclimation kits will contain all of the tools necessary for success. Just add water & grow lights to the simple acclimation process to produce healthy acclimated plants!
