Elephant Staghorn Fern

The Elephant Staghorn Fern is a dramatic and sculptural fern admired for its large, antler-like fronds that resemble the shape of a stag’s horns. This tropical epiphytic fern naturally grows attached to trees in the wild, creating an eye-catching display that feels both wild and elegant. The Elephant Staghorn Fern produces broad shield fronds at its base and long, branching fertile fronds that cascade outward, giving it a bold and architectural presence.

Its unique growth habit makes the Elephant Staghorn Fern a favorite among plant collectors and interior plant designers. It can be grown in a pot, mounted on a board, or displayed in a hanging basket, making it a versatile piece for any indoor jungle. As it matures, the plant develops larger and more dramatic fronds, turning it into a true statement plant.

Plant Care Tips:

• Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal. Avoid harsh direct sun which may scorch the fronds.

• Water: Keep the growing medium lightly moist but allow it to slightly dry between waterings. Do not let it remain soggy.

• Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity and benefits from occasional misting.

• Temperature: Thrives in warm environments and should be protected from cold drafts.
• Growing Style: Can be grown potted, mounted on wood, or displayed in a hanging basket.
