We recommend adding an insulated box to your order when:
- Temperatures in your area are below 40°F (4°C)
- Your package will be delivered to an unheated location
- You're ordering during winter months (November-March in most US regions)

Why It Matters:
Live plants and tissue cultures are sensitive to cold temperatures during shipping. Without protection, freezing temperatures can damage or kill your plants before they arrive. This add-on ensures your plants arrive healthy and ready to thrive.

Important: Insulated shipping boxes do not guarantee protection against freezing. For cold-weather shipments, we recommend having your order held at your local USPS for pick up.
