Monstera Deliciosa is an easy tropical houseplant to grow and care for indoors. Monstera deliciosa has glossy, heart-shaped split leaves and is relatively easy to care for. It is a fast grower, about 1 to 2 feet a year, and takes about three years to reach full-grown maturity.

    Bright, indirect light is ideal. Can tolerate medium light, but growth may slow.
  • Water:
    Water when the top 2–3 inches of soil feel dry. Keep the soil slightly moist but never soggy.
  • Humidity:
    Prefers moderate to high humidity. Will adapt to average household humidity, but thrives with added moisture
  • Temperature:
    Best kept between 65–85°F. Avoid cold drafts and temperatures below 55°F.
  • Soil:
    Use a well-draining, chunky mix (such as potting soil combined with perlite and orchid bark).
  • Fertilizer:
    Feed monthly during spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertilizer. Pause or reduce feeding in fall and winter.
  • Growth Habit:
    Climbing plant that benefits from support like a moss pole or trellis.
