The plant came with a yellow damaged leaf and the roots smelled a bit

Arrived not looking to good one dying leave. . Came with 3 leaves now down to none last leaf is yellowing and dying...root system looks healthy so I'm gonna chop it and hopefully it grows if not ooh well I tried

Hello Ajedee. I am so sorry to hear that! It sounds like it suffered some cold damage which is why we offer Cold Weather Protection. Since it was below 30 degrees in your area & you did not want to add an insulated box or a heat pack; unfortunately it sounds like the plant had some cold damage to it.

This one came in distressed. I sent an email and I was told it’s normal but now it’s dead. Waste of money

Hello Emerita, I am sorry to hear she didn't make it :-( I wish you would have reached out. The only email we have in regards to this order was when we asked what size pot to put the plugs into. We gave you care instructions for the Partytime & the Monstera. If you would have let us know there were issues, we would have gladly assisted you.
