The Alocasia Flying Squid is a fun plant with spooky and unusual leaves. It has tiny leaves at the end of each green and burgundy petiole that are shaped liked squid tentacles, hence the unique name. The Alocasia Flying Squid is a rare, yet relatively easy to care for plant that belongs in every collector’s jungle!

Alocasia Flying Squid enjoys its humidity, so it may take time to adjust to your home and a humidifier is recommended. Bright, indirect light will protect her tiny leaves from damage. Keep in mind, these are tropical plants who can go dormant in cooler months, preferring a temperature above 50 degrees Fahrenheit to stay happy!

Our plants are sold rooted in a 3 inch pot, packed with care & shipped with a tracking number so you can follow its journey to your jungle.  The Alocasia Flying Squid matures as a small sized plant, a great choice for a houseplant!

At Orange Lake Nursery, we take immense pride in meticulously packing each order with care. After all, these aren't just plants — they're the newest additions to your jungle!

This is an interesting plant. I love it! I had to read online to learn what he likes.

Let me start by saying it came in great condition and I've purchased plants in worse condition from store in person. Also, it's an alocacia, so it loves not to live. A few dead tendrils but great condition, and it was much fuller than the one pictured.
