This culture pack of 1 Philodendron Burle Marx Plantlets/Tissue Culture are sold in agar gel & ready to acclimate in their new jungle

The Philodendron Burle Marx (variegated) is a fast growing climbing Philodendron. It's very easy to grow and can thrive in a variety of light conditions. These do well inside or outside! Each arrowhead-shaped leaf is different: some will be all-green or all-yellow/cream, but most have a unique swirled 'splash' of both colors. In the right conditions, they are fast growers, and can produce multiple leaves each month.

Step 1- Do not do anything to the culture for 1-2 days to allow them to adjust to their new temperatures

Step 2- Open the package & wash out the jelly as thoroughly as possible. A small paint brush can be gently used to assist with the cleaning process

Step 3- Soak them in a rooting hormone if available. This step is not necessary for success

Step 4- Plant your cultures in the medium of your choice. We recommend a chunky blend of coco husk & perlite (available for purchase in our Add On collection)

Step 5- Place them into a closed package (container or plastic bag) while allowing light to pass through. Place under a grow light

Step 6- Leave plants covered for the first 7 days.  The following 7 to 10 days slowly expose plants to ambient air. Each day exposing the plants to slightly more air until fully acclimated. 

It is up to the customer to be able to provide proper acclimation to the plantlets.  We are happy to help answer any questions you may have in regards to the process of acclimating plants.
