The Philodendron Painted Lady is a climbing philodendron makes a loud splash with its variegated yellow and green blades! The leaves might remind you of the first time you ever picked up a paint brush. This makes it a top choice for beginners and experienced plant parents alike. Each new leaf emerges a golden-yellow color with chartreuse speckling.
Our acclimation guide can be found a the link provided below:
Step 1- Do not do anything to the culture for 1-2 days to allow them to adjust to their new temperatures
Step 2- Open the package & wash out the jelly as thoroughly as possible. A small paint brush can be gently used to assist with the cleaning process
Step 3- Soak them in a rooting hormone if available. This step is not necessary for success
Step 4- Plant your cultures in the medium of your choice. We recommend a chunky blend of coco husk & perlite (available for purchase in our Add On collection)
Step 5- Place them into a closed package (container or plastic bag) while allowing light to pass through. Place under a grow light
Step 6- Leave plants covered for the first 7 days. The following 7 to 10 days slowly expose plants to ambient air. Each day exposing the plants to slightly more air until fully acclimated.
